Who we are

InfoPinions was founded in 2014 as an information development consultancy. Over the years, we diversified into the business analysis market, and then on into custom software development. We have offices in Australia, VIC, and Ukraine. We operate on either the fixed-cost or time-and-materials basis, and can also provide ongoing operational / BAU support for all your ICT and digital needs.

Our primary focus is on helping local government and federal agencies deliver the best value to their communities, but we also deliver projects for private-sector and commercial entities. InfoPinions’ business model is based on the outsourced development approach – while the legal and customer account activities are managed from and governed by applicable laws of the Commonwealth of Australia, projects are developed and delivered from Europe (with your source-code and intellectual property being safely stored in cloud data-centres). We can also consider working directly with your on-premise repositories via remote, VPN, etc connections.

On top of SaaS, another linchpin of InfoPinions is Business Analysis as a Service (BaaS). Info-Pinions provides custom software design and development services, from green-field projects to the legacy systems refactoring. Victorian police

InfoPinions handpicked the software developers in Eastern Europe to deliver this critical functionality that was part of the telecom provider’s joint initiative with VFP. We employed the user-story format and screen mock-ups designed in Balsamiq to improve the usability and legacy design of an intranet portal required for analyzing the telecom traffic details across individuals of interest indicated in the requests legally authorized by Victorian federal police.The portal implementation was successfully delivered, and accepted by the customer with minimal change requests, on time and budget. Momentum Energy

InfoPinions helped Momentum implement a large-scale digital transformation project, crossing the digital chasm from a variety of disparate applications onto a unified platform incorporating the legacy billing engine, and Salesforce. We organized and facilitated requirement elicitation workshops, managing stakeholder expectations and developing trust-driven relationships with SMEs and project sponsors while successfully juggling competing priorities from 3 key stakeholder types: developers (Agility CIS), billing SMEs (government-owned Momentum), and third-party Business Analysts (Accenture). The requirement pool encompassed over 2000+ requirements; InfoPinions helped identify a gap in the existing scope of requirements, i.e. the missing non-functional and transitional requirements. The project spanned over 9 months and was successfully launched despite the ever-changing and fluid nature of business and non-functional requirements.
